On Saturday 14th June, we took part in the Corfe Mullen Carnival procession. Not only did we win our float category, but we won the overall Best in Show!

Mrs Ogilvie and the Carnival Club students worked super hard on all of the decorations for the last six weeks. Mrs Wallace and the Samba band practised tirelessly all of the fantastic brazilian drumming.

It was a fantastic team effort, coming together perfectly on a very sunny Saturday!

Thank you so much to all of the parents and carers who allowed their children to take part, to all of the Lockyer's staff that helped with the mammoth build on Saturday morning and to everyone who waved and cheered us along the carnival route!

It was a fantastic and memorable day for all of us!
